The Tenri Chamber Players (TCP-NYC) is a new chamber music ensemble performing at the Tenri Cultural Institute of New York City. Founded by distinguished performers, faculty, and graduates from the Manhattan School of Music, Mannes Conservatory and the Juilliard School, it is a testament to the power of collaboration between artists of varied generations, genres, and backgrounds through the transformative powers of music. Rising from the ashes of COVID-19 the Tenri Chamber Players unique series will present “Music and the Spoken Word” with well known speakers. The series is held in a less formal atmosphere in the midst of the Union Square and Greenwich Village neighborhoods, an area underserved by classical music concerts.
